Free Knitting Pattern: Matilda Bookmark
The Matilda Bookmark pattern is a single knitting pattern with TWO variations. As an avid sock knitter I always have a TON of scrap sock yarn laying around and until now, had absolutely no idea what to do with it. The Matilda Bookmark is the perfect scrappy project!
Hello fiber friends! I am super excited to share my newest knitting pattern with you. I’m super excited about the Matilda Bookmark because it combines two of my favorite hobbies - knitting and reading. I just feel like these are both cozy hobbies that go hand-in-hand!
The finished product of this pattern is a 7 inch long, 2 inch wide knit bookmark. This pattern is worked in back-and-forth rows using sock/fingering weight yarn. This is a single pattern but contains instructions for two variations - one stripe and two stripe. These variations can be used alone or in combination. This is a great project to utilize any scrap sock yarns and knit a bookmark to match your current read - or a book on your TBR!
